It was a beach wedding. The somewhat bitter citrus and spice of your perfume combined with the jasmine in your bouquet to create something reminiscent of neroli; appropriately, the same orange blossom was on your invitations, and you’ve since framed one of them along with fragments of the bouquet. Every time you pass by, you both swear that even behind glass you can smell it, even if nowadays it’s more like sandalwood -- but maybe that’s just the scent of love.
