These cacao beans are grown by farmers from the North Central Mountains of Nicaragua who have been harvesting cacao for generations in the rainforest. This particular co-op of farms is making great strides in developing gender equality in business and community leadership and is using the growth of their cacao farming to create opportunities for their families they did not have before like electricity, roads and schools. Expect a unique, delicious experience.

We've added cacao nibs and sea salt to heighten the flavors and give them a delightful crunch.
